Minx, Inc.™ has announced the launch of Minx nail fashion, a new and glamorous way for women to extend fashion to their very fingertips.

Sparkly metallics, personalized graphics and photo-quality designs currently unavailable in the market make up the Minx nail line. Made of flexible film, Minx finally gives women completely customized metallic and decorated nails that can feature the exact pattern and colors of their newest gown, their favorite photo, or that season’s hottest designs.

“We have not seen such a unique and exciting product for ages,” gushes Keri Parker, Owner of Lulu’s by Travis Parker, an exclusive nail boutique in San Diego. “Competition is fierce among top salons, so we are thrilled to be the first to offer Minx in our area. Any woman who wants to be at the height of fashion or wants something special for an event will have to make an appointment with us.”

Natasha Ray, Owner of Ms. Dainty Mobile Spa and Nail Lounge in Washington D.C., explains that the simple application process is a tremendous benefit for busy Capitol Hill clientele. “Because Minx is not a liquid and no hazardous chemicals are used in its application, manicurists can easily apply it to clients at the same time that hair and makeup are being done,” Ray explains.

Minx does not require any drying time, nor are there any fumes, spills, smudging or chipping. “Clients can be glammed in half the time, and salons can schedule more appointments in a day,” Ray concludes.

minx six step process

Minx is a professional-use only, high-end fashion accessory that extends fashion to your fingertips.

Prep Nails

Perform normal manicure/pedicure.
IMPORTANT: Place Minx under the Minx heat whilst carrying out your nail prep.

Size Minx Nails

Taking the Minx nail template, size the Minx to match your customer’s nail bed. Make a client record card. IMPORTANT: Always keep minx warm.

Application

Clean the nail bed with a lint free pad and rubbing alcohol. Do not use acetone. These often contain oils. Under heat apply Minx. Remove the nail from the backing sheet and hold under the heat until the product visibly softens. Apply Minx starting from the centre working out towards the sides, cuticle to free edge.

Removing Excess Product

Once all nails are applied file off the excess material with a Minx crystal file. Be sure not to file over the top of Minx. Allow the product to cool for 20 seconds before you file.

Three Step Process

Under heat apply even pressure to each nail. Start center working out to edges.

Check each nail and perfect application where needed.

Inspect sides and free edge to make sure they are smooth. Use an orange stick to help smooth.

Customer Approval

Once applied ask your customer to self check the application. Finished.
